ABOUT KNOW BETTER, DO BETTER

WHO WE ARE

Know Better, Do Better is a Christian learning, youth advocacy, student development, and knowledge empowerment initiative committed to helping people gain the knowledge, understanding, and guidance they need to make better choices and live more purposeful lives.
At the heart of the initiative is a simple conviction: when people know better, they are better equipped to think better, choose better, and do better.

WHY KNOW BETTER, DO BETTER EXISTS

We live in a world where information is everywhere, but understanding is often missing. Young people especially receive messages every day from school, family, friends, social media, entertainment, religious communities, public figures, and online influencers. Some of these messages are helpful, while others may be misleading, incomplete, confusing, or harmful.
A young person may be active online but still lack digital wisdom. A student may be academically gifted but know little about career opportunities. Someone may sincerely love God but have never learned how to study Scripture carefully. Another may have great potential but struggle because of misinformation, peer pressure, poor choices, fear, or lack of guidance.
Know Better, Do Better exists to help close these gaps.

OUR CHRISTIAN FOUNDATION

Know Better, Do Better is grounded in the conviction that truth should lead to action.
James 1:22 says, “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.”
We believe biblical knowledge must go beyond hearing sermons or memorising verses. God’s Word should influence our character, relationships, education, careers, leadership, ministry, decisions, and the way we treat others.
Through our Christian content, we help readers understand the Bible, theology, Christian living, ministry, leadership, spiritual formation, discipleship, and biblical interpretation in ways that are clear, responsible, and practical.

WHAT WE DO

Know Better, Do Better works through both digital learning and direct engagement.
On our platforms, we publish articles and resources on Scripture, theology, Christian living, leadership, personal development, education, career development, relationships, responsible citizenship, and issues affecting young people.
Beyond the website, we engage students through school visits, youth programmes, reading activities, quizzes, career awareness sessions, leadership development, digital literacy education, mentoring, and practical learning experiences.

THE KNOW BETTER, DO BETTER SHS TOUR

One of our major outreach expressions is the Know Better, Do Better SHS Tour.
Through the tour, we visit senior high schools and engage students around issues that affect their present choices and future possibilities. These include faith and character, education and study habits, career choices, relationships and peer pressure, leadership, digital behaviour, social media, critical thinking, misinformation, purpose, personal development, and wise decision-making.
Our aim is for every student to leave with something to think about, something to practise, and something that can positively influence the direction of his or her life.

BEYOND THE SCHOOL VISIT

Our work does not end with a single programme.
The initiative includes the formation of Know Better, Do Better Clubs, student ambassadors, reading challenges, peer-learning activities, leadership programmes, mentoring, and continued school engagement. These structures help students continue learning and growing after the main outreach programme.

OUR APPROACH

We believe young people should be engaged with respect.
We do not speak down to students or condemn them for what they do not know. We create room for honest questions, thoughtful discussion, practical learning, and reflection.
Our facilitators use simple language, real-life examples, respectful communication, and practical action steps that help students move from knowledge to responsible action.

OUR CORE VALUES

Our work is guided by knowledge, truth, responsibility, confidence, leadership, growth, and positive change.
We believe people should remain willing to learn. We value accuracy, sound teaching, evidence, and honest engagement with information. We believe knowledge carries responsibility and that what we know should influence what we do. We also believe learning should strengthen confidence, develop leadership, and contribute to positive change in individuals and communities.

WHO WE SERVE

Our work has a particular interest in Junior High School students, Senior High School students, student leaders, youth groups, church youth ministries, and young people in community organisations.
We also work with parents, teachers, guidance coordinators, schools, churches, mentors, youth organisations, community leaders, partners, sponsors, and volunteers.
Our online resources are also open to anyone who wants to learn, grow, think more carefully, and live more responsibly.

OUR GUIDING BELIEF

Know Better, Do Better is not about mocking people for what they do not know. It is about helping people learn, question, grow, and make wiser decisions.
We believe ignorance limits potential, but knowledge opens doors.
Our message is simple:
Learn more. Think deeper. Act wiser.

OUR INVITATION

We invite you to read widely, ask questions, examine what you hear, search the Scriptures, seek guidance, challenge misinformation, discover opportunities, develop your gifts, and use knowledge responsibly.
What you know should shape how you live.
Learn more. Think deeper. Act wiser.
Know Better. Do Better.
