We often dream about the big moments: the leadership role, the major opportunity, the day our gifts will finally be recognised. But Jesus reminds us that character is built in the small moments no one applauds.
Arriving on time. Finishing an assignment honestly. Keeping a promise to a friend. Returning extra change. Doing your part in a group when no one is checking. These may seem minor, but they reveal who we really are, and they prepare us for greater responsibility.
Faithfulness is not about the size of the task; it is about the heart behind it. God notices the student who studies with integrity, the worker who serves well without recognition, and the leader who is honest when a shortcut would be easier.
If you want to be trusted with much, start by being faithful with what is already in your hands.
